wheres the best marks here to fish,if i go down to the car park then down the stone stairs onto the rocks,is it just a low water shot? and is it worth trying there now or is it just a winter mark ,whats the best sea state for here in the winter

That's hartley peter. I think its a better winter shot but you get redduns in the summer as well.

hartley is 1 of my fav local mark m8 winter & summer,
some high water marks but mostley low water marks.
big skeer 2 the left is hartley skeer low, brocken leg behind it high, flat rocks bottom of the stairs is a high water mark, hartley island low, crescent skeer low but can b fished just after high below the cliff & follow tide back.
had cod to 8lb myself summer & winter but have been with m8's that have had doublers in winter biggest was a 17lbcod.
on b.s.a i have a full post with a map on hartley m8 showing ya the marks have a look as i know u r on there m8.
