Took the lad on a credit cruncher today ,fished with worm' power bait but had no takes so decided about 6.30 to set his small spinner rod up with a silver mepps and hey presto he had 4 trout in about 45 mins

Biggest one was just over 2lb and the rest just over pound and half

He is now asking when are we going back

Credit cruncher is £16.00 for four fish 2.30pm till dusk if a child is under 18 they fish for free with the paying adult and share their bag ( 4 fish between them)

I think its good value when you compare it to some of the other fishing venues

We were fishing the stretch between the two sets off railings not far from the car park

just that me mates son was up for his 1st time on the 28th,some one took him ,and he got a canny size rainbow lol he is about 9 lad that took him lives up in annfield plain,
