Thinking of purchasing a diawa 7ht mag to pair up with a zzipplex primo synchro. should this improve my distance?

No is the short answer.

You can't buy distance, what you can get is some casting lessons so you develop the technique to cast pretty much any kit a long way.

The Synchro and 7HT Mag are a great combination, I use this set up myself for all my clean to mixed ground fishing. The Synchro is a 300 yard rod that is still very user friendly and has loads of feel and great bite detection. Just don't buy them thinking they will make you cast further - that is down to technique far more than the kit you use.
