Anyone on here had any bother with a crankshaft pulley on a land rover discovery td5 ?
Mine is apparently worn and is making the car sound awful on idle but it is ok when driving.
I took it down to land rover specialists on team valley and they said to leave it with them and it might cost anything from £200 to £3000
I obviously took it home and after some googling have found the part on ebay for £198 and been quoted £200 to fit it.
Does this sound about right ? It looks like it might be a straight forward job to do myself but not sure if special tools might be required.
Any advice much appreciated.
