Anyone know any spots round the Tyne to fish from the car boot?

The prom next to goatsys at cullerocoats, the bit of quay next to cosalt at the fish quay, spillers up river . sure there is a lot more but the only ones i can think of at this time

As adam has said you can fish Spillers from your car and its ok for abit of sport on a medium to small tide otherwise the tide rips through and takes your gear a mile up/down stream. Cambois binns is a good mark which you can fish directly from your car from. good size tide and good sea running 2hours either side high water.

we fish off the walkway. you can park in the estate or on the road by the sailing club(this is where i would park) south shields pier is round the corner

as someone with chronic lung and kidney disease the only way i can participate in the sport i have loved for more than fifty years is to fish from my car boot i feel very angry and sorry that such a small minded person as yourself felt it neccessary to make the remark you did.may you never find yourself in the situation of being disabled.

I had an interview at British Engines in Byker the other week and noticed two cars had just pulled up and started fishing from the small bit of quay between the units

Only time ive fished from here there were boats going past all the time and coming right in some were just meters out, lost two sets of gear because of them. Mabes just a one off?

I never meant to cause any offence with my comment, Karl is my mate and i was simply just having a dig at him. My dad is disabled, so i understand fully your situation. Sorry if i offended anybody.
