Driving Instructors

Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor in the South Shields area?

My daughter (Emma the pollack catcher) has just turned 17 and got her provisional licence. I was going to use my old driving instructor but he's retired now (then again, I did pass my test in 1985 so it's not surprising!)

I'd rather use someone who comes with a personal recommendation that take pot luck with the Yellow Pages, so any help would be greatly appreciated lads (and lasses).
