Druridge Bay.... again 20-06-17

Went up Duridge again lastnight to use up the rest of the bait from the night before. Pretty much the same sketch, arrived just after low water and virtually no activity for the first hour of the flood, after that initial hour bites started to appear, this resulted in a triple shot with two Flounder and one Turbot. After that it was none stop with bites and flatfish, (mainly Flounder) on every cast. With the light fading I was hoping for a Bass (which I've never caught), I was attaching 3 rag worm by the head on each hook of a 3 hook flapper and dropped in the surf but the flatties were too quick! Still great fun though. If anyone fancies a session up there for flatties I was literally dropping my baits in less than a foot depth of water or less, so low that after 2 cranks of my real handle my trace would appear at the surface often with a fish attached, just shows how shallow of water they are willing to feed in.
