fished from 8am till 12-30 today.took ragworm and mackerel I had caught and salted last year.should have left the rag in the fridge as all the fish came on the salted mackerel.flatties-flatties and more flatties.it was a murky morning up there and rain was on and off most of the time I was there.had beach to myself though.nice to be out ,peace and quiet.

didn't catch this little fella,he just seemed to pop up next to my gear

get yourself to druridge mate, cant fail

Aye mate, had a reccy up there not long ago, looks good. Took the turnoff after the druridge bay one, takes yer down to where the boat club is, then you can drive along and park anywhere. easy access like. deffo me mission if I can drag meself away from that ssp. but I will as it will be inundated with bashers soon:D:D

I go in the other way, past the creswell icecream shop then keep going till cant go any further, park and walk through dunes where the little burn runs, theres a old pipe and I like 100 yards to right, big sand bar there at the min,20/30 yard lob is all you need

cheers for info mate

If you come into cresswell take the left turn onto the road that runs parallel with the beach. There are a few car parks in your right side.... Park in any of hen and walk through to the beach... 20-50yds and you will catch plenty of flatties, loads of flounder but a good few turbot sprinkled in. Personally I think the whole beach will fish well for flatties

seems like every druridge report throws up turbots i might head down myself because ive never caught one before..

Great report & pictures mate, druridge is such a beauty of a beach
