looking for a new sonar/fishfinder thinking about hummingbird or lowrance down scan imaging anybody had any experience with these type of fishfinders thanks

I've got the Hummindird 998C, it was on the boat when i bought it, so it was'nt bought by choice. But it's been no bother, easy to use and great display .

very nice unit a bit out of my price range though whats the down or side image like

I've never used it, but i do use the side scan when wrecking.

well decided to go for lowrance hds5 combo and navionics gold card received today very good quality piece of kit nice and clear

Got the Lowrance HDS 10/Structure scan, quality piece of kit and you wont be
disappointed
