I couldnt think of another name for this post.
Sorry if its getting boring, and I know this site does a hell of a lot for Charity, so excuse me if I appear to be banging on.
In my original post, I had offers of donations for Cancer charities, and theres another offer in the "Duncan Muirhead Trophy"post. The lads who are fishing the "Wee Comp" next Saturday are all donating £5 minimum to a Cancer Charity, Which one yet isnt clear, as some Donors have suggested different ones.
Anyway, Im going to bang my drum here, in aid of what Im going to call "Duncans fund"
I may be wide of the mark here, but I suspect every one of us knows someone, friend, or family, who has been affected by this horrible disease. I myself am working with a lad who left work early today to be with a member of his family who is close to death.
I reckon we have been pledged around £70 so far, in different posts. Id like to start the ball rolling with a donation of £100.
but I cant afford that, so, Ill donate what I can.
Im taking into consideration the lads who are going next week, a pot of £30.(6 lads at £5 each)
If youd like to make a donation, PM me with what you can comfortably afford.
When we get back next week, Ill post some pictures, with a total of what has been raised to then, No names, no individual amounts.. If you can afford £10 donate £10, if you would like to donate £1, it will be just as gratefully accepted. If you cant afford that, wish us luck. That too will be appreciated.
After Ive totted up the pledge, then, and only then will I arrange a method of payment.
Thanks for your time.
Its a long way to Portpatrick, anyone sell cherry diesel??
