Me and my mate fished Dunstanburgh castle this morning we eventually got there by 8.30ish after the long walk.
On me first cast i used daylites which produced a coalie then the cast after that four coalies thought they were decent pollack the way they were fighting. My mate was bait fishing from the off and first cast produced this;
Then a cast or so later he got another canny fish;
After this i had a decent coalie on me big rod(fresh crab pulley rig in hope off a decent codling),then after that i had a good amount of fish on me light rod all coalies.
There was no mackeral about it was rather choppy and the water was coloured.
We both packed in for 1pmish
It was a good few hours fishing considering conditions weren't great.
Baits used ;sandeels,Ragworm,fresh and frozen peeler,fresh mussel.
