any good these rods , used ??? what can I compare them to in the rod world .

It was/is the stiffest rod century made I had one and couldn't bend it lol. It wasn't even designed for our coastline, it was developed to catch sharks in Australia!! A beast for the rough stuff

very very stiff rod like a poker if u only want it to lob into kelp beds or into rocky gullies it will be fine, unless u can compress it i would say there are better options for our coastline.

kompressor ss, carbon metal crest, tip tornado etc and a few others

Rough ground rod but has good bite detection, stiff tip softer butt, not a rod to go flattie bashing with but a nice rod for kelp or cliffs

It wasn't a beast at all, the butt was actually quite forgiving. The problem was mainly the balance. It was very tip heavy and being 14ft 10 didn't help !

dunno what u class as a beast then as the e1000 is like a telegraph pole ?

u must use a scaffolding pole to fish with then lol

i call it a bit of a beast but a good reliable rod for our way .as chukka says though a bit unbalanced tip heavy ,a m8 of mine has lifted cod to 12lb on one.

Softest butt of the rough ground range mate wr300 Ttr and Tt all stiffer
