Early Morn Blyth Pier

Well after being let down by tackle dealer & spinning rod still not ready after 3 weeks of having rod to whip 1 new eye on, borrowed a rod off mate to then find 2 eyes were damaged im having to settle with an old, heavy spinning rod that i think was my grandads (very antique looking haha ), im hitting the pier for couple hours for bit spin. Anyone heading down???

Tell me bout it!!!! dont know if they telling porkies like, but after me yet again doing the chasing to find out where top section was or if finished im told, "oh hold on the lad who does them is here now" then im told he is waiting on guide being delived so it matches! what dont get is that they had them in bloody shop if not same , very similar n that would have done!!!!!
Ah well guess the antique rod will have to do for now ( think its an old pier/boat rod to be honest as eye nearest reel is very small unlike spinning rods for fixed spools, never mind tho i will give it a whirl!
