Early morning on roker

got to the pier second steps about 5:40 am cast out lost one set of gear after an hour.
moved to the round head and got chatting to a nice bloke who had being there all night kindly gave me some peeler crab legs and some advice on roker pier fishing spots, cheers bud if your on here.

few casts later not a thing being touched so aimed into the channel a bit and after about 10 mins my trusty old Sonik SKS started banging away thought it was the waves at first till it slack lined, the result a 1.5 lb cod for my species hunt, and to stop my 2 week blank .
did not see any think else being landed left the pier about 10:20 am with my little coddy

Well done on the codling nowadays it, s hard 2 get 1 in march we r now moving in 2 the toughest 2 months out that early u worked hard 4 u r catch
