Had a look down easington beach yesterday afternoon, fished with rag, two of us fishing ,it was low water when we started to fish and so the waves were breaking over the sand bar ,this was about 60 yards out ,and so we both cast over the top of it , nothing for about half an hour then decided to have a bait change ,but when i started to bring my bait in ,after a few turns on my pen mag ,the line went tight ,i thought i was dragging it over the sand bar , but it never got any easier, until i saw in the surf a nice schooling bass of about 3/4 of a pound, this was returned in fine fettle , nothing much happened after that for about 2 hours ,when Mick started to bring in his bait for a change and the exact same thing happened to him, his was slightly smaller but still a very nice fish, this was also returned in fine fettle, a good day out, fine weather and two bass ,what more do you need
