easterly winds forecast all week, do you think it might bring a few cod in?

Gonna have a go tonight but it's a small tide n not hoping for much. Later in the week looks more promising but I can't get out.

Will use 2 rods, a pennel fired out to see if there's anything big biting n see if owt small likes my flapper offerings closer in.

Been waiting all the cod season 4 easterlies 2 late I think

Have had very good results this time of year for cod if the conditions are right. Last year I had a few fish over 5lb from tynemouth. Big tides and big seas and you should still see a few fish about
