eddie stobart oh dear!!

Well I should be out fishing trying out my new reel but opted for the sofa and TV instead, saving bait for Sunday. So I decided to watch the box, I selected Eddie Stobart trucking, I got into it so googled them. Yeah history from Cumbria going back to 60's great, then to my shock they seem to be registered in Guernsey shock horror not another bloody company that promotes its self as a British Institution that blags us normal tax paying folk by paying less tax by a loop hole, please someone with knowledge tell me its wrong.!!!! I've already given up costa coffee, why should owners of Stobbart get filthy rich when so many small haulage firms are going bust. I bet they majority share holders are foreign !!!! Should of gone fishing and been ignorant.

despite all efforts to avoid their dues n demands over here still got into some serious financial difficulty some years ago
 
controlling interest is owned by a Bermuda based investment company, it's just marketed as a british family business....

nothing strange or illegal...


just business I suppose..
 
Well whoopee doo Bermuda, I suppose I'm free to live in Bermuda me being a full tax paying British person?? Its funny how the American companies abusing our tax system are thought of as bad, but the Stobart company are great, its very wrong imop, Long live the small haulage firms of Brtitain !!!

Oh no is someone on the vino?lol was good catching up this afternoon mate plus the bonus of a sale and seeing a car crash lol its life working class folk have to pay for the ritch the needy the greedy and the lazy
 
the uk government lets big companies off with paying tax because they employ people and it makes the dole figures look good,same with agencies and umbrella companies. what they lose on taxes , saves them paying rents,housing benefits,insurance claims,tooth care,eye care, etc etc and a weeks worth of wine money and fags. do you think our great british government doesn't know this ??? you really are naïve :rolleyes:
