because regardless of any positives that that their might be about the EDL, it will ultimately descend into a racist slagging match

I dont normally get involved with politics, but have got to agree with Ell on this one.

We’ve seen both sides of this debate in the first few posts.
There are no shades of grey in this discussion - you’re either 100% for or 100% against the EDL.
Because of this I see no point in allowing this thread to continue as it will only turn into an even bigger slagging match between two contradictory opinions.
