Wasn't sure whether to put this on as it's not from the north east.
BUT I heard a couple of you may be travelling up there soon, so I thought I'd share a couple of pics from my trip last Sat

Thanks for the replies guys :)

I just got a new wee digital camera yesterday so hopefully next time pics will be a bit better quality, was using my phone for these 1s, and I'l report sooner next time

cracking stuff m8 what its all about im off there in july a boat hired for the day and some shore fishing added in too :)

Im guessing you booked 1 of dougs boats ? Top guy is doug,
It's a great wee day out I must have been out on his boats close to 20 times last 2-3 years.
Theres places all over the loch from the shore some have loads of fish others only have a couple but bigger fish (quantity/quality) if you know what I mean :)
Main species (for me anyway) has got to be the spurs/thornies, but produces ALOT of other species.

Enjoy your trip mate and remember the "Avon Skin So Soft" as the midge will be out in force by then if your camping/nightfishing

Well done on ua catch and ya trip away, nice pictures of nice fish too!:D

Can't wait for my trip away now like, brighouse bay will offer 3 species I've never caught before, thornback rays, starry smoothounds and possibly tope too. Looks too be a canny trip to Scotland, and your pics have excited me even more!!

Again, well done mate.;)

Well cheers for the positive replies lads I am heading back up there this Saturday so hopefully I'l have another few pics of some good fish, :)

Good stuff mate, I am hoping to get up there this year, but my first trip for fishing to Scotland has got to be my favorite place MOG fish or no fish i just love the place me and my mates had some great sessions there off the shore.:D;)

That is a nice part of the country I must say, went camping down there with the other half for a few days last year, only tried fishing for a wee while and never caught, as you say fish or no fish still a nice place, If you have never been to Etive you will be impressed the scenery is 2nd to none and the fishing is good too :)
