me and mag 1 had our 1st trip up to eyemouth this year and it was fish from the first cast mostly small kelpies and coleys had managed to get one decent cod out but lost some better fish in the kelp had one snagged up for about 20mins just gave it some slack and set the drag "out it came and what a lovely red kelpy only for me line to snap it fell onto a ledge right in front of me and well the rest is history never mind still a canny day out sorry about the pic but for some reason it won't turn

40g sprat type spinner blue /silver in colour these seem to work best for cod up there for some reason

Well done. I was at st abbs this morning and only had 2 fish, a 2.5lb codling and a 2.5lb coalie. Both came on fresh crab, nothing on spinners.
