Anyone know if you can still fish the back of the golf course up in eyemouth? never tried it round there but the mother in law was saying the dive school has moved round there now. Just that when we were walking her dog the other week there looked to be some canny spots around there.

Dunno if its changed in the last few weeks mate but I fished it approx 6-8 weeks ago no probs. Parked just off the road by a entrance to course about half way up on right hand side. Small path right through middle of course takes you to path along the rock edges. I fished about 200 meters to the right of where the path brings you out of the course. Was a bit of a climb to waters edge but fairly comfortable to fish. Lots of bites but only caught 1 wrasse about 2lb. Was string of pots about 70-80 yards out but I was only casting short.

I would only be casting short anyway - my casting is terrible lol. for some reason I can chuck a 1/2 oz swim feeder and 6lb line twice as far as I can chuck the heavier stuff! (do still water fishing as well)

No restrictions on fishing the golf course other than fitness and a head for heights.

You can have your pick of marks. Go all the way down the road almost to the new harbour and walk over to fish Nest Ends or Ramfauds or park up with the golf club above you, over the golf course and fish the likes of Whalt Point
