Was up there last week not much in the way of coddling a few pollock 4 lads fishing next to me had loads of mackeral. The pollock where to the left casting towards the bouy. The Mackeral where on the point of hairy ness casting in the direction of st abbs but that could all change good luck mate

thanks for the warning im heading up at 5 in morning so should get there for 7 bottom waters about 11am so will keep eyes peeled on the tide coming in dont fancy swimming theres 2 of my mates heading up with me to so not alone
saw 2 guys swim the gully last year at high tide they didn't know what time high tide or low tide was.threw there gear across to me then swam across Crazy

low water bout 10.20 am at shields and believe bout 3/4 of an hour earlier up there ,so by my reckoning that makes low water just after 9.30, a dare say if am wrong a'll sharp be corrected

Just checked the bbc tide for eyemouth low water on sunday is 8.24am not a bid tide either so will limit your time on hairy ness there is a coast gaurd station at the entrance to the caravan park they have a notice board up outside with the tides on may be best to check the tide there before going over hairy ness
