Me and my mate Ian set of for Eyemouth last Wednesday 1/07/15 to have a go for some Pollack. Never really fished up there so it was a case of having a look about. Due to a pretty strong S,W wind we decided to try out back of Caravan park. Climbed down and found nice flat rock. Ian my mate was into them more or less straight away and had some canny species.

We had couple of other species as well. My mate beat me 10 fish to my 2. It was hard work and we felt we should have moved and tried other areas but the wind and sea roughing up put us off.
Disappointing really but that's fishing.
Tight lines Mick.

"SEA ROUGHING UP" ??? Looks like glass to me, although I do remember you spewing all over me when out of Craster in a boat, when it was no rougher than a damp lawn !!! Well done lads

This retirement malarky seems to suit you well Mick. At least you got what you went for and I'm sure you will be back for bigger and better in the future

well done. that mark is one of my favourites but sometimes it just doesn't fish. I prefer bait on a ledger just lobbed a few yards out, that's where the fish are normally.
