left the marina at 7.30 on the hunt for mackys,not much luck with the storms we had early in the week,so off we go to some marks the odd cod coming in,i was not having much luck my self,i thought dont worry its nice weather and get a tan ,we moved off on to another mark the water was crystel clear down went my shad result a nice cod about 8lb then next drift another cod about 7lb and quite a number to 5lb (the whole party were now after shads)the fish came in 5 and 6 at a time (i was getting tired dodgy ticker )my next drop bang bang line being taken i thought yes 5 minutes later she was up 14 lb of shear clean cod i was out of puff but very happy then more cod 5lb to 7lb my next drop bang line being taking again 5 minutes later another 14 lb cod wot a day

well done,davey certainly knows where the fish are! i was supposed to be out with him last weekend but he had to call the trip off due to the winds! fish and chips for your tea tonight then i bet
