famous hartlepool 7th july

hi folks,
We left marina at 7.30 ,As the outer marina gates opened we looked out to a canny running sea from the south east,We set of to chosen mark for macky soon had a half box ,Then it was time to hit mark X
a few lads baited up with fresh macky ,and the other lads on the shads (a few shad virgins aboard) soon had them boys rigged up 1st drop the water had a bit colour,Dave moved to another mark down the boys went cod,cod ,cod and more cod ling as well for the baited hooks thats how it was nearly all day ended up with about 35 stone of fillets biggest cod 14lb biggest ling 14lb ,Very good day for such a big tide and south easterly wind well done dave (skipper)
