I have taped the batteries up so they dont fall out and bent the peice of metal that does into the batteries down further so its closer to make contact and used some clear rubber tubing that pushes the contacts together also you can use the ends off 3 prong plug protector that fits over and pushes the contacts together. but that makes the light a little bigger and can be a pain in the wind.

Also its worth rubbing the end of the led with a file it scraps the plastic end and spreads the light a little so the spot light isnt as intense.

yes you get loads a sessions out of one and they are better once they get dimmer, you can replace the batteries as well but for the price you can just chuck em and use another one.
