Fathom 15 or 525 Mag2.

As title suggests, do you prefer the Penn Fathom 15 or the Penn 525 Mag2 for general fishing.

Mag 2 not that great for me I got a 15 much better but ever one has the choices to fish with if that any help

I've never had a pick of bother with my 525mag2 and love it. The fathom is basically a similar reel but better made... Hence the rough £30 extra price tag. Both good reels though. Slightly better build on the fathom but like I said, you do pay extra for it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with either

fathom 15 got two of them good reels :thumbup: had a 525 mag2 was not that keen on it sold it got get another fathom 15
