Don't think there too good for serious fishing, but it floats... so you could fish from it.

Got one as a play boat and to take away with the caravan to the mull for fishing very inshore for bass and pollack but would not like to venture to far out in one. You would be better off with a yak around the 13ft mark.
Mind you I'm looking forward to the mackerel around blyth in it away from the pier full of summer fishermen.
