just been looking on a few weather sites and hopefully not next week but the week after it looks like we might get some westerlys for a few days i hope so because the season is coming to an end and the biggies should be about fingers crossed lads :)

5 weeks to go i would say, never done that well past mid Oct as the weather comes in quick and spoils it, thou i did have mackerel from the boat on Oct the 27th last year.

Hope you're right about the weather mate, No end of season for me, had some good uptiding sessions last year when the weather permitted. This year i've got a cabin, so even better...:)

I tried and failed two years in a row to catch anything worth going out after mid Oct but if the weather stays good i will keep going until the wrecks dry up.

Weather not looking good for next weekend (4th Sept), and no football either ..... :(
still, there'll probably be some cricket to watch .... :o or maybe not!

I was going to watch the cricket but just rang them up and they say they will be all out for 230 runs :)

I think it may turn out ok, the high pressure seems to passing at the mo but i am hoping it will push the low further north and give us half a chance.

Aye rich and I`ve heard it on good authority that it'll be on the fourth ball of the 20th over ........:p

get yer money on it :) :p

Cant wait for the weekend, going to risk it today as i feel that west we have had during the night will have made the sea fishable, only time will tell when i am out there but always done best after a storm on far off wrecks....will report catch reports either way good or bad.

go for it Rich , and Deano ....

I fear the easterly will join in a bit by the weekend, but then again, it's not over till the fat lady sings ...... (or at least until Saturday morning comes around)
