BLANKETY BLANK ? me and the son from 4pm till 8.30pm not even a bite bait used rag +lug we wernt the only ones 2 blank someone said one codling on the end good one but couldnt tell me the weight ?

me and 4 others fished from 7ish to 11pm. All had whiting once it got dark.
Taken on worm amd makeral, makeral being the key.

we were fishing 2nd bench up from first gate last nite had one small coalie called it a day about 8pm hadnt been shore fishing for a while its amazing plenty fish on boat but not much from shore hope winter shore fishing picks up soon

Fished the 44 and then the end. A few Dabs at the 44 and a few small Whiting off the end. One codling caught that was barely size, just about 37cm but the lad kept it. I came off at about 21:30, only othe two lads there were not far behind so they said and they had nowt when I left.

Very poor considering the conditions lately, I expected better especially off the end as it got dark but thats fishing for you.
