needed to be home for 12 so a early start was needed , so off to the hole in the wall for 7 and met up with ian and davey
flat sea and sunshine was the order of the day

dropped down a set of sabikies , kindly donated by davey as i had left mine in the car
once we were out near the end of the pier we were straight into the mackeral , nice big and healthy fish first of the year for me ,after catching about half a dozen , we all headed to our intended mark
tried everything jellyworms leadheads with twin tails hokkeyes but couldnt find the pollock today
think davey pulled in a couple of cod great morning out ,with good company
could of bagged up on the macky today but that wasnt the objective ,hopefully next time the pollock will be playing ball, heres a few pics of the day jeff

ian relaxing with his new sound system installed on the yak (rofl)

Nice report there 01 Kayak. Your pictures suggest it was a near perfect day out there. Shame about the Pollock, but now there finally here you can always rely on mackerel to give a bit sport.

Sure to catch up with you shortly.
Regards
Trevor
