first report

hello lads(and lasses) new member here thought id say hello. been itchin to get out nd wet my line, not done much fishin over the summer so with it being a canny morning and with my 5 yr old laddy workin his ticket I told wor lass id take him out fishin for a couple of hours (felt bad using my son as an excuse to go out fishin like!) anyway my laddies deaf so I had to think of somewhere fairly safe to take him, opted for king eddies bay(to the left of it) big mistake! caught nowt, just about emptied my tackle box the amount of gear I lost but blew the cobwebs off and the bairn enjoyed it. bring on the winter! not much for my first catch report like(sorry sticky) promise ill do better next time out.

Unlucky on not catching and I use the same excuse with my son Cameron to go fishing hopefully there will be fish. Next time

a good spot for the bairns would be the base of tynemouth pier at high water, railings, no tide run, sand bottom so loose no gear and get some good sport, had countless flatties and coalies when i fished it last, all on makky hope this helps

thanks again lads, funny you should mention the base of Tynemouth pier like ozzy, when we finished fishin we had a look round that way and I was having a bit crack with the port of tyne bloke and he was saying the same so I might give it a go the next time ive got the bairn out with is
