Hi, i notice the antifoul has light patches and was wondering how long it has been since the last coat. Mines out this week but wont be able to get a look at the antifoul before its re done. just wondering how bad it gets after 1 year....P.S love the Arvors...Cheers....Chris.

Mine has been in the water 21 months. The light parts will be from the pressure washer as before it was blasted the only paint missing was right on the water line and that was due to my "ice" breaking the other year lol wont be doing that again in the marina :)

Sand, undercoat and clean down Wed, top coat and few touch up's Thur, everything back on and cleaned Friday before the lift back in.
Weather sunny with clouds so that will do me as last week was saying rain and some snow.

Thats good to hear i was worried what mine would look like after a year, hoping to be back afloat for the high pressure coming this weekend :). Looking forward to the " AFTER;) " pics....

Sting Ray looks pretty good after 21 months immersion. On Thursday this week, my boat is being lifted out on too; it only went in at the start of the year but I wanted to wait for the chance of better weather before doing the antifouling. Everything is ready for a paint and a polish, PA Lynches are selling AF at 15% off if you need some.
Looking at the boatyard, everyone else has had the same idea during our forced confinement.

seen alot worse rich - getting excited now about the season, you will get another knot or two out of her with a new shinney bottom.

spot on rich, you can see the hard work your putting into it ..........
It's looking a million dollars mate , well done.

I`ll be out this year sometime, last clean was july 07 .... :)
I used to antifoul every year , then after 3 or 4 made it every 2 year because it looked reasonable, the last was 3 years and this too will be 3 years ....... marina is not too salty water so seems to help the antifoul hold on and keep doing its job, never found a live thing fastened to the bottom yet :)

 well done

norm

Yer i will be keeping it down too 2 years but i must say the back of the boat had about 40 unwanted friends holding on that took some sanding off :) but i am only about 20ft away from the marina entrance so maybe abit more salt water on the surface.

Looking good there. Mine’s being lifted tomorrow if you want to continue with your painting skills. I’ve not had a look around the yard, do you need a caravan type electric plug or do they have sockets for ordinary three pin plugs?

"Caravan" style plug, same as what's on the pontoons....1 tip, bring something to lay down on as it gets stone deck and can be abit hard when sanding and painting.

I will be in the yard for 2 more days maybe longer as couple other things i wish to do that would be easier out the water and no rush with the lock gates blocked by massive steal walls.

Finish coat and general clean Thursday and final tidy on Friday and thats it done outside wise.

rich is the lock empty - if so can you post some pics as would love to see what it looks like empty etc.

stingray is looking good tho mate.
