After finishing the second coat of antifoul (which I got free of a mate i might add!!) Wicked Jack is finally in themarina...
So with the weathyer being glorious on Friday I headed striaght up with mate and girlfriend in toe, got out about 6ish to a pretty flat sea, wasn't expecteing anything really, just went out of sheer principle as the weather was lush!
Anyway got nowt but the wind dropped making the sunset over the cheviots all the more pleasurable
So, Saturday was the first real all day session. Had planned on going down to Cresswell but a brisk S.easterly sharp put that idea to bed. Anyway my mate Stu got his first (and only fish of the day) codling about 1.5lbs. So I was pleased for him if nothing else. All in all a poor days fishing but glad to be back out there. Weather look scanny for the weekend so cresswell it will be!
