first weekend back fishing in over 10 month

I moved house over ten months ago and the gear got sold needs must and all that, I decided i wanted to start again and have been skrimping and saving since just before xmas 09 and finaly got the last piece of the puzzle on friday night (a brad new 14ft afaw 6 n bait for £70) which i have now paired with a 6500 ct mag elite.

Anyway back to my weekend I met up with two people off WSF on saturday on a local beach and thought im not going to get anything because the fishing has been terrible lately, But I manages 6 fish 2 turbot, 1 plaice and 3 flounders. I was over the moon christened my new rod and reel.

Sunday morning came around so i thought i would go wet a line again so off i went met the same two people and fished the same place and managed 10 fish mostly small flounders and a few dabs.

Baits used were rag,blacks,macheral,razor and squid. on saturday all fish wer taken on mackeral and on sunday all fish wer taken using small rag (maddies)

Welldone on catching both days, Sunday must have been difficult. Was bad enough on Saturday. It is always good to catch, even if they are only small, it has been tough recently

now tony, at high water it was lovely we fished off the rocks so the cliff sheltered us from the wind, but when the tide started to drop off fast then it was bad sat in the middle of the beach with no shelter.

yeah mate was a good weekend i have deffo got the bug again now
