Fish for T

After suffering a blank off Souter the other day I couldn't wait for the opportunity to try again. So when I pulled up at Roker this morning I was thrilled to see things looked perfect.

The calm outlook carried on as I headed out from the harbour

This lull in the weather brought the privilege of me meeting another kayak fisherman called Mark.

Pretty soon my little twin tail lure produced a nice little cod

However, despite the efforts of Mark and I to split up and drift all around the area

it proved to be the only fish we caught. Nevertheless, on a selfish note it did provide two lovely fillets which my wife and I eagerly devoured at teatime.

Aye, hope so Jeff. There's nowt better than the deep bend in the rod that says there is a decent cod on the way up!
