Jury still seems to be out on them. Often the case with ANY bait used on it\'s own and certainly with artificials, peole will argue the pros and cons for a long time. More cons normally. I\'d certainly team them up with other baits but would be reluctant to waste precious fishing time using them on their own, even for experimental purposes. Let someone else do that for you then wait for the posts.

I havn\"t tried them yet but probably will at some time. Have tried plenty of other daft things so one more will not hurt lol.

Why don\'t we all just cut out the middle man and buy a small submersible with nets and spears ..simple eh . I wonder if this idea will make national press??? :casstet: Most things seem to these days ,I\'ll watch out for rumours of a new fishing method in Sammy Harris\'s report next week !!

Does any one reccon those \'fish finding watches\' will work ?? Im off to Blyth Harbour tomorrow (Good Friday) it would be nice to chuck one of those things out and see if owt was abowt!! if not I could shift a few yards up or down the river,, or just go to the nearest pub.. or as usual sit there for a few hours feeding the crabs then go to the pub.. It could cut out the middle man,, Fill the car with all your gear have a quick dip with the thingmyjig then go home and empty it.... again it could be a bait saver,, drive there first chuck it in,, nothing doing go home.. could save you a few bags of lug,rag,squid,cuttlefish,,,bla,bla .. If any one try\'s it stick a post in its got to be worth a laugh at least...
