got some quality lug from billys and decided to fish the quay next to the ice house yesterday. i started off at 12 and straight away i got a dab of about 9 oz, then next cast small codling, then it went quiet for an hour and after that it was a bite every 2 casts. packed up at 6 as the cold had got to me. finished the day with 2 dabs a flounder and 3 undersize codlings, all fish returned. all the fish were taken on lug and squid, the fish weren't touching out else.
also the bites showed up perfect on me new sk4, i bet it could tell if a fish farted next to me bait
