Went out earlier tonight started at Pottery bank - Blanked after 2 hours, decided to move to the coast.

Fished seaton sluice on the flood at the breakwater channel - bait came back clean first time and half gone second time then nowt not even a nibble, was expecting a plaice or on the flood but nowt.

Bait used - Rag, Blacks, Prawns and mackerel strips.

I'm away to sluice tomorrow looking for flatties, place in particular! will let you know how I get on...Probs the same as you but can't catch anything in the house lol.

Seaton Sluice I always find fishes best on an early morning high tide, but you need a spell of no rain beforehand so there's nothing washing down the Dene.

i would try the middens thier should be the odd plaice starting to show this time of the year now if you can beat the crabs over high water
