Fished The hole in the wall at blyth from 1pm till 5 the went up the road to the west pier till 6 and blanked at both! Anyone had any luck close by?

Fished shields today mate from 11:00, not even a bite until 17:00 when I got a few coalies, all size and one about pound and a half.

Sorry mate, I should have been more specific, it was south shields pier, not that it makes much difference like.

Beautiful day anyhow
me and a mate fish Blyth pier on Friday night just before the end. I ended up with 6 rockling, a coalie, a codling and a whiting. Not a bad night. Most fish taken on lug using size 1 hooks, all were undersize and returned.
