Fished 4pm - 730pm. started at Boathouse Whitley Bay gave up after two casts as couldn't compete with the weed. Went to Tynemouth swimming pool fished 90 mins up and 2hrs down, mate and I never got a bite. Two other anglers fishing next to us also got nothing. Sea looked great for fishing but no one told the fish. Usual baits used. First blank in 8 sessions so cannot complain.
