Fishing gear.

Im sorry if this has been asked before but could someone please recommend a good place to buy fishing gear? Last time I went fishing the eye snapped on the end of my rod. I could fix it but the rod is prehistoric and best just getting a new one. Also my reel has just about had it. One local fishing shop I go to seem to want the earth for their stuff.

Personally i use the mail order companies for rods n reels as sometimes they do good combo prices.but all my other tackle i will use the local tackle shops.
I suppose it depends on the amount you want to spend on a new rod and reel.Just have a look around all the local tackle shops and compare the prices.

why not put a wanted add in the trading post section, if you know what you require !
