Fishing in Croatia

Going over to Porec next May (honeymoon!) and I was wondering if anyone has fished over there , wanting to know what tackle and what bait to use and what fish can be caught. Hoping to smuggle a telescopic outfit over in the case (risking divorce no.2 but what the hell!!)

Don\'t know about Croatia, but I do know that if I had tried fishing on my honeymoon, I would have been strung up by my tackle (BTW: that\'s tackle as in wedding, not fishing!)

Got no idea about the fishing mate but my mate has just come back from Porec (i think its the same place) he had a brilliant time

Well, after the post relating to the loss of tackle (and not the fishing variety!) I decided to come clean and ask our lass about the fishing. Turns out that she\'s been checking out the websites to try and give me a fishing trip surprise and apparently the boat fishing is pretty good in May. Result!! we both go boat fishing and the tackle remains firmly attached!!
