The things you do on a wet Saturday! We are awaiting our promo code for the cheapy caravan holidays and will be booking the October week, but after a trawl through my catch reports we have come to the conclusion that Easter is a waste of time, fishing wise.............. well for us anyway!

So we had a look online for a foreign holiday at that time of year and before we knew it, we had booked a week in Gdansk, Poland!

I don't imagine many on here will have been there, but if you have we would appreciate any fishing stories. Being on the Baltic surely it should fish??

Thanks.

Mark yous to get across there in the floating dry docks that were in the swamp land the mosquitoes were massive so if your fishing get some repellent :);)

There are beaches in Sopot which is nearby, and a pier. When I was there in March no-one was fishing. They were all panning for Amber. The beach looked very Shallow. Strange place for a holiday (bit like Middlebrough, but less smiley faces:D)but hope it's fun.

God I hate mosquitoes Beachbuddy!

Haha Ross it looks beautiful, especially the old city, so much wonderful archetecture, museums, theatres etc.

I saw photos of the pier, looks good. I also saw "stag" boat fishing trips advertised! Not sure what that is about?

Anyway £80 return flights each and room and breakfast in a lovely hotel for £13 each per night. Now that is not like Middlesborough! :)
