allright folks,
a friend is taking my son fishing tomorrow morning, i have advised roker pier on the neck end, easy fishing and should not have any problems catching coalies or whities, any where else worth a shot!!
regards
It might be,i prefer fishin there on a bigger tide with some mucky water but still worth a shot, as long as the boys catching something he's happy.
Thanks mate

My boy did fish Roker pier only ten,so he was obviously excited by his first trip to the pier without his old man there chastising him every five minutes.Got a phone call to say he had caught a Sea trout which i thought a bit odd.Anyway went to pick him up,had a look in his bucket to find a Coalie.Obviously some more training needed!Anybody fishing roker yesterday no doubt would have been told about a ten year old catching a sea trout.
Sorry folks false alarm.
As long as he caught something and enjoyed the day,he'll be back for more.
Regards
