well me and mick cave decided a night out fishing,we headed for hendon docks ,eventually we found a way on,long walk mind ya,we was chased off going down,so we left sick a c*nts,so a long walk back to the motor soaked lol and headed for the ratty corner hoping for a few codling, arrived at 9.30pm sets up with a pulley rig 4/0 manta pennel ,nothing happened for first hour or so till i gets a slight rattle ,left for another response nowt so decided to see what had been so interested in the big crab bait,reels up a nice flounder at 35cm,s with the 4/0 reet down its neck ,hook cut off and removed then returned for another day

mick seemed to be having none of it ,small rattles here and there nothing connecting at all,a while later we decided enough was enough and one more cast and that was i put a last big crab bait up on,.i lobbed a short cast about 30 yards,wasnt in the water 2 mins when a good old rattle on the rod tip ,which produced this fine flounder at 39 cm,s and was very fat aswell.also returned

off home we went, well mick you still havent christened that rod yet but your time will come soon mate ,"but it was better than sitting in the house"

even more sick as a c**t now, chased off the docks, blanked and now me phone f****d water damage but like coddy says its better than sitting in the house
 
Nice one.
Amazing how close flatties come in.
I have spent many a time on Blyth pier just watching them in the shallows while every body rushes to the end.

never had me scales but this beauty looked around 2lb mark measured at 41 cm,s
