Fishing marks in Hebburn

Does any one know of any decent fishing marks in hebburn were you can fish this summer For some decent fish.I have been getting some good flounder down the church bank at the minute on peeler crab but i am wanting to now some other places down here which have done good for fishing in the past.

And does any one now how long it will be before the mackrel are in at sheilds or roker pier

Dunno if it's anywhere near, but my Brother used to live not far from the pedestrian tunnel on the north side of the river, we used to walk through and fish on the south side (presume that's near you), mark was a little jetty thing not far from the tunnel, loads of good sized flatties and the odd nice codling but I'm going back a fair few years.
