You sure you can pay the £2 on the boat ? We were supposed to be fishing the comp last Sunday on Flamer II and we were told by John that you had to register at North East Tackle Supplies shop.
Might be worth giving John a ring just incase.

Hope you guys have better weather than we have had for the last 2 days !

Deffo pay on the boat (was at a party with john on friday). Jethro further to our conversation, the marina is opposite asda follow the signs once you have been to the tackle shop.

just been on famous not on crusader as intended.biggest fish today16 lb4 oz ling my mate caught it, i got one ling8 lb 4 1/2ozs and that was just before we packed up . my mate got the daily prize a penn boat reel and has a good start for the weekly prize of £200.by the way you register on the boats apart from sat and sun,so dont waste your time going to north east tackle tomorrow. hope you have a good day.

the maccy was ther not in great numbers but enough to get by. only 2 boats went out today famous and i dont know the other ,there was about twenty fish caught on our boat not including maccy or whitey. about 5-6 ling about 8-10 lbs, about 5 cod around 6 lb mark my mates big ling and the rest was smaller cod and ling . not to bad for the 6 of us that managed to fish. the lad who owns the boat was great tried his best and had a crack with everyone. did have a swell day and have the brusies to prove it , pity we could not hit more fish.

the other boat didnt bother trying to weigh any fish as they got a report of our skipper and there fish that they caught were up to abuot 8 lbs some on the other boat didnt catch anything, like i nearly did.

Jason, you seem to be the one to ask about Hartlepool charters - so which of the Hartlepool fleet do you recommend ? I have been out on Flamer II which is a great boat with a decent skipper, and will be going out on Geronimo next Wednesday, but we want to get a few more in at least before the end of the season and are wanting to try a couple more, for variety, I was thinking about Esk Star or Crusader.

hartlepool boats dont fish wrecks they fish rough ground, i lost no gear as well .did you get anything or did you have a me day,( nearly blanked day ).

biggest cod today is in the run for £1000, as i was told biggest cod before the 10th was a 13 lb one .by the way i dont recommend crusader as he dropped us in on the quay side, did help us get out on another boat but that would have been no good if the two boats that went out were fully booked.

thats right the cod today is in for the £1000 but the ling off the other day has the weekly prize.take from it me the skipper was trying to wreck .we also done the hard ground .your right about the famous hes a nice lad dave .the lad who had the cod was just on the op side off the boat if the drift was the other way round who knows as i had runnydown and suid on .the skipper never set the boat up for our side we fished under the boat all day .
