it's been a long time since i was there but it was a decent little lake. i can't remember the prices really coz ah was only a bairn, about 13, it was a couple of quid for the day ah think. as for the fishin it was pretty good with tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and eels. ah don't recall any carp.
i actually took a 2 and a half lb tc carp rod with me coz it was what i used for flattie bashin and mackeral up here and i had sum real good days, espeially with the tench. i think the most i had was about 5 or 6 to 4 lbish in the morning and i lost count of the roach and rudd i caught once the sun got up !
i used sweetcorn and luncheon meat for the tench and maggots for the rest. it's a good idea put sum ground bait in for the tench and fish around bushs at about 3 to 4 foot down and at around a foot to 2 for the roach and rudd in the summer.
