Fished with two mates last night from the flat rock, between us we only managed a whitie, 2 cod about a pound each and a rockling. There was a nice swell on but the cod just weren't playing. I'll be honest I went down with a double in mind, but just not to be. Still its better than blanking eh Greeny?? LMAO:p

I fished the green wall at seaham with my son and a mate i think we spoke it did look spot on didnt it,The best conditions ive had there but i only managed a 2lb codling maybe it needs a good northerly blow to get them in that area. I looked at it during the week and it looked like a washing machine down there
maybe next time

yeah these small tides spoiled a very good sea, so well done on the few your caught and i also had a doubler in me mind this weekend, which wasnt meant to be

I know what you mean Mick. It's not just about a good blow, a good blow and spring tides are what we all pray for. It's getting to that time of year when the bigger ones are on their way and when you get some nice conditions you can't help but be confident. I have a feeling 2008 is the year I catch double no2. Heres hoping.
